NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON APPROVAL OF

PROPOSED FINAL VOTING DIVISION BOUNDARY MAP

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of the Linda County Water District will hold a public hearing at the District Office, 1280 Scales Avenue, Marysville, CA 95901, on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. This public hearing will be the final public hearing held under Elections Code section 10010 to receive public comments and input regarding the proposed approval of election division boundaries for the District's directors. 

Attached to this notice is the proposed final map of five divisions from which District Directors would be elected. The Board will consider enacting an ordinance at the hearing to approve the proposed final map, sequence of elections, and other actions to implement the new District by-division elections system. All interested parties are invited to attend this public hearing to provide input or to submit information on the proposed final division map.
